Dominion of Philippia

The Dominion of Philippia (Sarovian: Pesitpais eui Philippia) is a country located on the Continent of Orios, east of the Sarovian homeland. Philippia is the oldest Dominion and the largest country in Orios. As a developed country, Philippia was the first country to create the concept of civilian jobs, which boosted the local economy. At the national level, legislative authority is vested in a bicameral Parliament just like its mother country, the New Sarovian Empire, while executive political power is exercised by the Government.

Philippia is a federation composed of three large provinces, a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with the Royo y Imperad Carolus I Vasa as head of state — a symbol of the Dominion of Philippia’s historic ties to the New Sarovian Empire — with the government led by a Prime Minister.

Unlike the Dominion of Carolusburg, Philippia is a very ethnically and culturally homogenous country, and is well-known for its homegrown nationalist movement. Though one of the least developed countries in the world, Philippia is also one of the richest thanks to its bountiful resources which allowed it to surpass Carolusburg as the Commonwealth’s fastest-growing economy in 2024.
