Assembelle eui Nobressos

As the oldest legislative assembly in the history of Estos, the Assembly of Peers, or the Assembelle eui Nobressos, is the secondary and upper chamber of the Imperial Parliament. Representing a storied and ancient history that is responsible for the rise of Sarovian political life, the Assembly of Peers is primarily responsible for the break in imperial absolutism and the beginning of Sarovian democracy. The Assembly in its modern state, now more different than ever, can be traced back to when Consteynnos IX bestowed the Charter of the Imperial Parliament to Sarovians, which guides the procedures, rules and powers of the Parliament.

Like the Lower Chamber, the House of Commons or Masson eui Comunos, the Assembly meets in Sarholm, New Sarovia. As a chamber of the Sovereign’s nobility, the Assembly of Peers works towards offering strong, sober and wise thought to the partisan House of Commons.
