ASSEMBLY OF PEERS
The Assembly of Peers is the upper house of the Imperial Parliament, as well as of all Sarovian Dominions with the sole exception of Carolusburg. An upper aristocratic class has always been a prominent factor of the Empire since the beginning of New Sarovia in 2016. Titles such as Duke, Earl, Baron, and others and more have been given to the most fervent of Sarovian supporters and close family members. Until 2022, the Assembly was chaired personally by His Imperial Majesty the Emperor, but it is now chaired by a Lord Speaker, who is in turn served by a deputy with the title of Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal.
