To find out more about judges in all three levels of the Sarovian court system, visit the The Three Courts and How They Work page to learn about them. However, being a judge is not the only way to participate in the court system. You can also be a lawyer!

A lawyer is, quite simply, a person who is qualified to offer advice about Sarovian law, draft legal briefs for a client or a court, or represent clients in legal matters. Anyone can be a lawyer, provided they possess a bachelor’s degree in Sarovian law and open up a formal legal practice. This can be in the form of a law firm – a group of multiple lawyers – or a solo practice, which is when a lawyer operates alone without partners. In New Sarovia, anyone who is formally registered as a lawyer can take on someone currently involved in a legal matter or dispute as a client, and assist or represent them in their case. Lawyers also have the right to write an amie eui cortenne brief, which is a form of document in which a lawyer discusses the facts of a case and recommends a ruling to the presiding judge or Justice.
