New Sarovia prides itself as a center of learning, and as such, it not only encourages learning but also the spreading of knowledge from the top down. For this reason, the Imperial Parliament passed the College and University Standards Act of 321 AS, allowing Sarovians to create their own private universities, provided they follow a set list of criteria set forth in the Act.
If you are interested in creating a private university, it is recommended that you read the full Act and speak with the Ministoro eui Eduache regarding your aspirations. The criteria are also summarized below:
- A license must be obtained from the Ministe eui Eduache and a fee paid.
- The applicant must present the Government with courses designed, at least, for a bachelor’s degree. Courses designed for master’s and doctorate degrees may also be presented but are not required.
- The applicant must present the Government with a plan regarding the amounts to be paid by new students as tuition to the private university.
- The applicant must present the Government with final exams for each course.
- The applicant must present the Government with a name and governance structure for the private university, and a plan for how the university will remain active.
