In accordance with the Charter of the Provinces Act of 311 AS, which established the modern Sarovian provincial system, provinces “shall have the prerogative to organize and manage events, festivals, and provincial and federal holidays, celebrating local traditions, heritage, and historical significance, enriching the cultural tapestry of the province”. In particular, the Act states that “it is the responsibility of the provinces to maintain and uphold their respective provincial cultures, including the establishment of provincial holidays and events and the implementation of those events”. Accordingly, provinces have established – and celebrate – various holidays through a variety of festive methods, including but not limited to events, contests, and other activities. Below, you can find comprehensive lists of each provincial holiday.
