In New Sarovia, there are eight major educational institutions. All founded either by Consteynnos IX or his successor Carolus XIII, it has been a fervent belief in New Sarovia since the advent of the modern era that the best defense against barbarity is proper education and conditioning, to ensure Sarovians are taught Sarovian values and important knowledge in order to be wise and productive contributors to Sarovian society.
The Ministe eui Eduache directly controls three of the four civilian institutions, with the fourth – the Universette eui Lorde Camrose – controlled by the Government of the Dominion of Carolusburg. Meanwhile, the military institutions are controlled in a collaborative form by the Ministe eui Eduache and the Elsado Defenasaca Imperial (Imperial Defense Staff), the leading council of generals and admirals that manages the Imperial Sarovian Armed Forces.
Below is a list of the civilian and military institutions of the New Sarovian Empire and Her Colonies and Dominions, and what they offer degrees in.
Civilian Institutions
Universette eui Falkenholm
The Universette eui Falkenholm, or Falkenholm College, is the Empire’s most active institution of higher education, and is often seen as a gateway for careers in leadership. It offers bachelor’s degrees in Civil Administration, Culture, History, Finance, Law, Politics, Imperial Studies, and High Sarovian.
Universette Consteynnos
The Universette Consteynnos, or Consteynnos University, is the Empire’s premier institution of higher education. Graduating from it often leads to senior positions. It offers master’s degrees in History, Law, and Public Administration, the latter of which is recommended for anyone wanting to be Prime Minister one day.
Seminette eui Saintos Tristiame
The Seminette eui Saintos Tristame, or St. Tristam’s Seminary, is the Empire’s premier institution of religious education. Graduating from it is required to join the Stefanic clergy. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Theology, though the name can be deceiving as it encompasses a full course on the Church.
Universette eui Lorde Camrose
The Universette eui Lorde Camrose, or Lord Camrose University, is an educational institution exclusive to the Dominion of Carolusburg. It offers bachelor’s degrees in Finance, High Sarovian, Culture, and Carodian law, as well as a master’s degree in Culture. It is administered by the Carodian Government.
Military Institutions
Imperial Military College
The Imperial Military College is the Imperial Armed Forces’ officer school. Those who are eligible to become officers, either by being in a prestigious family or passing the exam, come to the IMC to study to be commissioned, either as an Army Officer or a Militia Officer.
Karlstadt Combat Arms School
The Karlstadt Combat Arms School is the Imperial Armed Forces’ NCO school. The KCAS teaches Infantry School, a supplementary program to Basic Training designed for infantry regiments, as well as Cavalry School, its counterpart designed for cavalry regiments.
Ironwood Military Academy
The Ironwood Military Academy is the most active, oldest, and most basic school in the Imperial Armed Forces. It teaches the famous Basic Training program, meant to introduce new soldiers to the Empire and to the Army.
Wolfwater Naval Academy
The Wolfwater Naval Academy is the school of the Imperial Navy. It grants naval commissions and teaches the naval equivalent to Basic Training. It is the newest military academy and is currently still creating new courses.
