The Saro-Gralat Exchange

Do you want to be paid in real, in-game currency for your service to Sarovia? Fortunately for you, you can! Sarovia was actually the first organization in its native community and game to pay its citizens on a regular basis. This started during the reign of Emperor Constantine VI, where members of the Imperial Army above the rank of Corporal were paid one gold gralat a week. At the time, Saros did not exist and so payment was directly with in-game currency. This system continued for three months before the death of the Emperor led to the end of the program. However, under Emperor Constantine IX, the Currency Act of 276 AS was passed creating the Sarovian national currency, the Saro on Discord. This currency allows for easy and precise transfer of money for goods and services, and also serves as a medium of exchange between in-game currencies.

In more recent years, the Currency Act of 276 AS was amended to allow for this to happen directly. The result was what is now known as the Saro-Gralat Exchange. Every Monday, the Saro-Gralat Exchange is hosted by the Ministora eui Fisnace. The Exchange is an opportunity for our people to exchange their Saros for gralats ingame, using a 1:2 ratio (1 Saro is equivalent to 2 gralats). Each week, a team of hard working farmers led by our Ministora eui Fisnace, accumulate a large sum of gralats, to be used in the Saro-Gralat Exchange and allow those in our Empire to exchange their Saros for gralats.
