CURRENT IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT STATUS: ACTIVE

The Imperial Parliament consists of two houses – the HOUSE OF COMMONS and the ASSEMBLY OF PEERS. Whilst the members of the Assembly of Peers are appointed by the Emperor and stand above partisan politics whilst serving in that capacity, the members of the House of Commons are elected by the population and are beholden to partisan politics whilst serving in that capacity. The two major political parties are the conservative HATS PARTY and the liberal CAPS PARTY.
